Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading client in Romulus, Michigan specializing in Modular Home Manufacturing.
Finish Carpenter – Doors, Windows & Cabinets Job Summary:
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00/hour based on experience.
1st Shift: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with potential overtime on weekends as needed.
Responsibilities:
Install pre-fabricated and custom doors, windows and cabinets in modular homes, ensuring precision and adherence to design specifications.
Measure, cut, and fit cabinets and trim work accurately within specified areas, ensuring all installations are level and secure.
Use hand and power tools to assemble and install cabinets, hardware, and any related components.
Inspect and adjust cabinets, windows & doors as necessary for a proper fit and seamless finish.
Work closely with other trades to ensure cabinets, windows and doors are installed in coordination with plumbing, electrical, and other installations.
Follow blueprints, plans, and supervisor instructions to ensure installations meet project specifications and company quality standards.
Perform finishing tasks, such as sanding, trimming, and installing moldings or decorative elements.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools and materials.
Follow all safety protocols and use the appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) while performing tasks.
Assist with additional carpentry or finish work as directed by management to support the completion of modular homes.
Finish Carpenter – Doors, Windows & Cabinets Qualifications:
6 years of experience in finish carpentry, specifically in doors, window and cabinet installation or related woodworking roles.
Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and follow precise measurements.
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools, such as saws, drills, and levels, specific to cabinetry work.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring cabinets are installed securely and accurately.
Physical ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs, and perform tasks that require standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable transportation to the job site.
