What are the responsibilities and job description for the ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ANALYST position at PeopleInc?
Hourly Pay Rate: $23.00
Shift: Monday-Friday
Responsible for various accounting functions and performs various tasks to help maintain accurate financial records for the Accounts Payable Department; performs general ledger bookkeeping and administrative duties pertaining to fixed assets and capital leases as a part of the Business Office staff while working under the supervision of the Director of Accounting as well as the A/P leadership team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for using Sage Intacct to maintain fixed assets for the agency; includes maintenance of this schedule in accordance with agency policy, inventory tagging, write offs and general ledger reconciliation for entire Agency.
• Maintains all amortization schedules for capital leases and records capital leases on a monthly basis.
• Assists with year-end audit as needed providing the required schedules for fixed assets and capital leases
• Scanning, entering, and indexing invoices into OnBase A/P Workflow; review of same in A/P workflow
• Code and key payables and fixed assets/capital lease GL entries into Intacct
• Provides coding for capitalization by A/P (and other depts if/when necessary)
• Customer service to all levels of personnel within agency
• Completes special projects as may be assigned by the Director of Accounting
• Complies with all agency policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of related experience, or and equivalent combination of education and experience
• Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to effectively present information to groups of customers or employees of organization
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to interact with all levels of personnel
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions.
