Key Responsibilities
- Review and sign off on complex individual tax returns (Form 1040), including multi-state filings for high net worth individuals and business owners
- Oversee the preparation and filing of fiduciary tax returns (Form 1041) and implement tailored tax strategies for trusts and estates
- Serve as a strategic tax advisor, helping clients navigate estate planning, trust structuring, and multi-generational wealth transfer
- Stay informed on evolving tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and offer forward-thinking advice
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with high net worth clients by consistently delivering white-glove service and sound guidance
- Provide oversight and mentorship to junior staff, contributing to training and professional development initiatives
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive team culture by leading with integrity, curiosity, and a people-first mindset
- Promote a leveraged, scalable team model and support growth initiatives with a long-term view on client service delivery
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA or JD required for Senior Manager and Director-level candidates
- Minimum of 5 years of tax experience, with a focus on high net worth individuals and trusts (family office or public accounting background preferred)
- Demonstrated leadership experience and accountability for client success and team development
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex tax matters clearly to clients and colleagues
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe); familiarity with tax software platforms required
- Growth-oriented, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment
