Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Provide desktop and help desk support for SOMTC classrooms.
- Support Mission Readiness Exercise (MRX) environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve workstation, software, and peripheral issues.
- Ensure systems meet security, configuration, and operational standards.
- Document support actions and update incident/ticketing systems.
- Assist SOMTC staff in maintaining a reliable, secure, and mission ready IT environment.
- Associate in an IT related field or 4 years of professional experience.
- DCWF Client Systems Technician (411) at Basic.
- Networking concepts and protocols.
- Knowledge of cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Physical components and IT architecture.
- System operation, maintenance, and security.
- Troubleshooting hardware and software.
- Configuring and validating workstations.
- Documenting and querying incidents.
- Interoperability of Army/Joint Mission Command systems; IT support in an Enterprise environment.
