Job Title: Logistics and Inventory Coordinator

Reports To: Director of Operations/Executive Director

Position Summary

The Logistics and Inventory Coordinator oversees inventory records, monitors stock levels, and ensures accurate inventory control processes. This role involves receiving deliveries, coordinating distributions, managing the bounty tables, supporting Food Pantry processes, and supporting seasonal programs, such as Bag Summer Hunger, Bag Holiday Hunger, Thanksgiving Distribution, and Project Santa.

Key Responsibilities

• Bounty table setup, replenishment, and cleanup.
• Food Pantry and Cafe stock replenishment.
• Distribution preparation and execution.
• Receive and inspect inbound deliveries.
• Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ensure proper food storage and rotation using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
• Track expiration dates and remove unusable products.
• Support seasonal programs, such as Bag Summer Hunger, Bag Holiday Hunger, Thanksgiving Distribution, and Project Santa.
• Break down and remove cardboard/garbage.
• Sweep/clean inventory storage areas.
• Represent and uphold the organization’s mission and values.
• Educate clients and volunteers about programs and impact.

Requirements

• Able to lift and carry 50 pounds
• Physically capable of standing/walking for the duration of a full shift
• Effective delegation skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Food Bank safety certification within six months of hire date

Schedule

• Approximately 30 hours per week
• Monday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM
• Tuesday: 6:30 AM to 2:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Benefits

• Paid Federal Holidays, based on average daily hours worked

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
