About the Role:
The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and comfort of the healthcare facility. This position is responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance tasks, repairing equipment, and addressing any facility-related issues promptly to support uninterrupted healthcare services. The technician will work closely with facility management and healthcare staff to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment for residents and employees. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in equipment repair and general maintenance, including carpentry skills.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately.
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to punctuality and willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Basic reading and writing skills to document maintenance activities and communicate effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a healthcare or social assistance environment.
- Certification or training in facility maintenance or related technical fields.
- Familiarity with healthcare safety standards and regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to work with integrity and maintain a professional appearance.
