Shift: Day – 4×10 hours (6:30 AM–8:30 PM variable)

Job Overview

The Inpatient Pharmacist will provide clinical and distributive pharmacy services in an acute care hospital setting. This role supports patient care by ensuring safe, accurate, and effective medication therapy while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient pharmacy services within a 200-bed acute care hospital
• Verify and dispense medications accurately and safely
• Conduct medication reviews and clinical interventions as required
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare staff
• Utilize Epic for charting and documentation
• Rotate through weekdays and weekends as scheduled
• Float between like units as needed
• Follow established protocols, hospital policies, and regulatory guidelines
• Support patient care needs during variable shift start times
• Participate in maintaining and improving pharmacy workflows and operations

Experience & Qualifications:

• Required Experience: Minimum 2 years inpatient or acute care pharmacy experience
• First-Time Travelers: Not accepted
• Pending license not accepted
• Active California Pharmacist license required
