Job Summary:
We are hiring an experienced Sterile Processing Technician (SPD) to join a leading healthcare facility in Long Beach, CA. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in sterile processing and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.
What You’ll Do:
Inspect surgical instruments and trays for quality, accuracy, and completeness
Ensure all sterilization processes comply with ANSI/AAMI standards
Identify, document, and report missing instruments or quality issues
Maintain accurate records to support compliance and audits
Collaborate with SPD and OR teams to ensure smooth daily operations
What We’re Looking For:
CRCST or CIS certification (required)
Minimum 2 years of SPD experience
Strong knowledge of ANSI/AAMI sterilization standards
Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance mindset
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
