We are seeking a Registered Pharmacist for a 13-week contract in Columbus, OH. The role involves accurate prescription dispensing, patient counseling, and collaboration with healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective medication therapy in a fast-paced outpatient/retail setting.
- Verify, process, and dispense prescriptions accurately
- Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and adherence
- Check for drug interactions, allergies, and dosage accuracy
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, DEA, and pharmacy regulations
- Support pharmacy operations, technicians, and inventory control
- PharmD or BS Pharmacy from accredited program
- Active Pharmacist License (good standing)
- Retail/outpatient pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
