Job Summary:
We are hiring an experienced Sterile Processing Technician (SPD) to join a leading healthcare facility in Long Beach, CA. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in sterile processing and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.
What You’ll Do:
- Inspect surgical instruments and trays for quality, accuracy, and completeness
- Ensure all sterilization processes comply with ANSI/AAMI standards
- Identify, document, and report missing instruments or quality issues
- Maintain accurate records to support compliance and audits
- Collaborate with SPD and OR teams to ensure smooth daily operations
What We’re Looking For:
- CRCST or CIS certification (required)
- Minimum 2 years of SPD experience
- Strong knowledge of ANSI/AAMI sterilization standards
- Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance mindset
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
