We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Case Manager / Utilization Review for a 13-week contract opportunity with a respected Cancer Specialty Hospital in Irvine, California.
📍 Location: Irvine, CA
📅 Start Date: Asap
⏰ Schedule: Day Shift | 5x8 Hours (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
📄 Contract: 13 Weeks with Potential Extension
💰 Compensation: Up to $70.00/Hour (Traveler Rate)
• Taxable Rate: $25.00/Hour
• Non-Taxable Stipend: $45.00/Hour Equivalent*
• Blended Rate: Up to $70.00/Hour
Qualifications:
✔ Active RN License
✔ BSN Required
✔ BLS Certification
✔ Minimum 5 Years of Case Management and/or Utilization Review Experience
✔ Acute Care Hospital Experience Required
✔ Experience with InterQual Criteria and Milliman Guidelines
Key Responsibilities:
• Care Coordination and Discharge Planning
• Utilization Review and Medical Necessity Determinations
• Concurrent, Continued Stay, and Retrospective Reviews
• Appeals and Denials Management
• Collaboration with Interdisciplinary Healthcare Teams
• Compliance with CMS, HIPAA, ICD-10, DRG, NCQA, OSHA, and Joint Commission Standards
