What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Compliance Officer position at People Inc?
People Incorporated is accepting applications for the position of Senior Compliance Specialist. In this role, the Senior Compliance Specialist provides administrative support to the leadership of Affordable Housing Management in ensuring program compliance for the People Inc Affordable Housing portfolio of properties. This position supports, trains and works directly with property managers in the preparation of tenant file documentation to maintain compliance requirements essential to the operation of the portfolio.
We are looking for someone who is/has:

- Possesses the ability to run down details other people miss
- A genuine team player- this role only works alongside a strong property management team
- An Associate degree or 3-5 years of related experience/training in property management and compliance (or an equivalent mix of both)
- 5 years experience in property management, affordable housing, grants, management or administrative compliance.
Nice To Have:
- Bachelor's degree
- HCCP, STAR or C3P designation
- Proficient in OneSite or specific training in RD 515 and LIHTC programs
- 7 years of housing management experience with a focus on compliance
