Currently, we are seeking qualified applicants for the position of Center Director for our Bristol Virginia Head Start Center.  We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Center Director to join our team.  The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and management skills, a deep understanding of early childhood education, a commitment to providing high-quality care and services, and monitoring for center compliance with all federal, state, local, grantor and agency standards, policies and regulations.  The Center Director oversees the daily operations and management of the childcare facility ensuring a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, along with supervising center staff. They will form positive relationships with children, parents and staff. An Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field and three to five years supervisory experience in an early childhood education setting required.
