Deliver Driver

Job Description:

Class C Driver

Start time: 7am- 3:30pm ( it can changes depending on traffic or departing time)

Monday to Friday

Pay Rate: $19/hr

Delivery Driver Key Responsibilities:

• Drive a truck to complete pick-up and delivery tasks, with a focus on making deliveries
• Maintain a clean and organized driver zone
• Verify that products are at the correct temperatures for delivery
• Communicate with cooler associates to check the status of your order
• Assist in the cooler/warehouse when waiting for orders
• Ensure orders are complete, accurate, and in good condition before delivery
• Verify customer details, addresses, and purchase orders (P.O.)
• Match purchase orders with invoices
• Handle loading and unloading tasks, with customer signatures required upon delivery
• Operate a pallet jack as needed
• Follow designated delivery routes
• Perform daily pre-inspections of the truck and report any necessary repairs
• Start the truck early to ensure the right temperature for deliveries
• Complete all required documentation accurately
• Refuel the truck as needed
• Remove empty pallets and clean the truck at the end of the day

Requirements:

• 2 years Experience driving a truck and operating a pallet jack
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members (Bilingual is a plus)
