Position Overview
Shift Leaders play a key role in delivering Dunkin’ operational standards and creating exceptional guest experiences. In this role, you’ll coach and support Crew Members throughout each shift, set clear goals, assign responsibilities, and motivate the team through recognition, feedback, and hands-on leadership.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the training and development of Crew Members as directed by the General Manager or Assistant Manager.
- Communicate shift goals and hold team members accountable for performance.
- Serve as a role model for outstanding guest service, always prioritizing our guests.
- Prepare food and beverages quickly and accurately
- Assemble and package orders for dine-in, takeout, and drive-thru guests
- Take orders and handle payments at the front counter or drive-thru (as applicable)
- Deliver outstanding guest service with a positive attitude
- Keep workstations, equipment, and guest areas clean and organized
- Stock and organize inventory and refrigerated areas
- Communicate clearly with managers and teammates
- Drive a sense of urgency to ensure guest needs are met and issues are resolved promptly.
- Reinforce proper use of systems, tools, and procedures, correcting deficiencies as needed.
- Monitor quality, service, cleanliness, and safety standards throughout the shift.
- Ensure restaurant standards and marketing initiatives are executed properly.
- Enforce compliance with all cleanliness, food safety, health, and security policies.
- Report equipment issues, share performance feedback, and communicate opportunities for improvement to management.
- Comply with all restaurant, brand, and franchisee policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Ability to speak and read English fluently.
- Basic math and writing skills.
- Previous experience in fast food or quick service restaurants is required.
- Strong guest focus with the ability to anticipate needs and exceed expectations.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to build and lead effective teams by placing the right people in the right roles and celebrating shared success.
- Ability to consistently follow food safety and health guidelines with precision.
