Job Title: CAE Engineer
Location: Detroit, MI
Duration: Full time
The engineering services company created several full vehicle ADAMS models to perform:
Engine mount development studies
o EDU mount development studies
o Body mount development studies
o Ride comfort evaluations (single input and various road surfaces)
o Motion Envelope creation (for EDU and engine) for various loadcases
The ADAMS models need to be updated because of different links to tire-models, MNF files to different flexible body structures, and road inputs.
o For continuity purposes, it is important that the output of the models are very close to the most recent results of the engineering service company (for all the above mentioned studies).
o Without this continuity, we cannot build on the models for further tuning and development
Once the models are running and the results fall in line with the prior results, models need to be updated with:
o Updated busing and mount stiffnesses
o Updated chassis parameters
Updated flexible bodies
