Exterior Lighting Engineer

Location: Irvine, CA


Responsibilities

  • Design automotive exterior lighting systems.
  • Develop headlamps, tail lamps, center light panels, and corner lamps.
  • Perform feasibility studies with the Styling team.
  • Design components using CATIA V6.
  • Collaborate with Tier-1 suppliers.
  • Support manufacturing feasibility and product release.
  • Interpret simulation results and implement design improvements.
  • Complete component release activities.

Required Skills

  • 10 years in automotive lighting.
  • Minimum 3 years as a Lighting DRE.
  • CATIA V6.
  • Automotive exterior lighting systems.
  • Manufacturing processes.
  • Mechanical Engineering degree.
