Computer Aided Design Designer

Job title: Configuration lead / Sr. CAD Designer

Location: Kalamazoo, MI (Onsite)

Duration: Full time

Experience: 6–10 years in product design/manifold type component

Skill Set:

• Strong experience in component and assembly design
• Expertise in 2D to 3D conversion and validation of complex parts
• Proficient in 2D drawing creation, multi-sheet drawings, and BOM generation
• Familiarity with production processes, including build/conversion/integration
• Quick turnaround for Design Change Notes (DCNs)
• Hands-on experience with Enovia VPM and design release processes
• Proficiency in CATIA V5 (Part Design, Assembly, Surface Design, Drafting)
• Knowledge of part manufacturing and machining
• Strong project and team management skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
