- Description Work Arrangement Onsite - This position requires the employee to be onsite full-time. The primary work location will be at the General Motors Global Technical Center in Warren, MI. The Role We are seeking Robotics Test & Validation Engineer to join our Advanced Development team within the Autonomous Robotics Center (ARC). In this role, you will develop innovative test frameworks for robotics, including hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), simulation-driven validation, and continuous safety monitoring. You will define new performance metrics for intelligent collaborative robots such as adaptability, robustness, and trustworthiness. You will work with Robotics Intelligence to validate early prototypes and with AI & Simulation to benchmark AI models before deployment. What You Will Do • Design and implement test plans to validate AI models and robotic systems. • Develop automated testing frameworks to ensure reliability and performance. • Analyze test data to identify and resolve issues. • Develop test frameworks including HIL and simulation-driven validation. • Define performance metrics for intelligent robotic systems. • Validate early prototypes with Robotics Intelligence. • Benchmark AI models with AI & Simulation teams.
