Penske Logistics is looking for Sanitation Worker (Janitor) to become part of an excellent team. We take pride in offering a competitive wage and great benefits including: **Schedule:** Monday to Thursday 4:00pm - 2:30am $18.00 base rate $1.00 Shift Differential **Major Responsibilities:** • Proficient in mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, and vacuuming surfaces • Empties trash bins and cleans trash area daily; operates trash compactor when applicable • Pulls pallets and clean/scrubs product bays on a rotating basis • Clean up any spills or breakages to the inventoried product; recoup damages and determine if resalable or must be disposed of per food safety standards and requirements • Clean other areas of the warehouse and offices, including break rooms, restrooms, offices, etc. • Complete daily sanitation logs • Utilize chemicals, detergents, and cleaning equipment • Operate scrubber, bailer/trash compactor and pallet jacks to perform duties • Able to identify and address cleanliness and sanitation issues • Complies with all safety requirements • Escalate issues timely and directly to supervisor • Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system • Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor **Qualifications:** • Previous sanitation and/or warehouse experience preferred. • High school diploma or equivalent preferred • Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required • Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required • Flexible to work overtime preferred • Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job • Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required • Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
