**Position Summary: ** This position is for EPES Transport, LLC., a division of Penske Logistics, based in Greensboro, North Carolina. The primary purpose of the **Regional Manager-Safety Compliance** role is to collaborate with operations personnel to integrate Health, Safety and Security (Logistics Safety Compliance) into all activities and decision-making processes in assigned areas. **Scheduled:** Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PMEST Travel Requirement: Traveling 50-75% **Responsibilities:  ** Lead initiatives to prevent vehicle incidents and work-related injuries through proactive safety programs and risk assessments. Conduct thorough investigations of all vehicle accidents and workplace injuries, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions. Partner with Operations Leaders to ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements. Communicate safety performance metrics and trends to Operations Leadership, providing actionable recommendations for continuous improvement. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety improvement initiatives, focusing on both leading and lagging indicators. Interpret and communicate regulatory updates, offering guidance and support to Operations Leadership to maintain compliance. Oversee the development and delivery of effective safety training programs tailored to operational needs. Manage transportation safety protocols and ensure robust location security measures are in place and maintained.
