What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist Pelvic Floor position at Penrose & Associates Physical Therapy?
Benefits:
Penrose Physical Therapy in Lacey, WA is expanding. We've grown into something bigger than outpatient ortho: we're building the first integrated mobility and longevity center in the South Sound — combining clinical rehab, regenerative medicine, and wellness under one roof. dry needling, EMTT, shockwave, pulsed radio frequency, red light, upright VR, HBOT, PEMF, infrared sauna. This is where PT goes next.
We need a pelvic therapist who's ready to grow into that. We have dreams of creating something special here for women. We have a pelvic floor PTA and 2 other pelvic floor PTs that would like to create programs for women - a Menopause Plus program to start and then eventually post partum group. We want to empower women to live their best lives! Shockwave for pelvic health is becoming a game changer - if you have not heard of it here is a great write up: https://www.curamedix.com/blog/radial-pressure-wave-pelvic-floor-combined-approach
What you'll actually do here:
Most pelvic evals are 60 minutes. Every follow-up is 40 minutes, one-on-one with your patient — no overlap, no handoffs, no tech doing your job. AI handles documentation so you can close notes as much as possible at time of service and go home. You'll treat complex cases, work alongside experienced PTs in vestibular and pelvic health, and co-treat when it matters. Weekly provider meetings aren't check-ins — we practice skills on each other, work through tough cases, and use OCS prep materials to examine our biases and stay sharp on evidence-based practice.
The right fit:
You believe manual therapy, functional loading, and patient education and understand that recovery tools like shockwave, EMTT, Stimpod, Red light and hyperbaric can make a real difference for your patient. Training will be provided so you can successfully recoomend these options to your patients. You build trust fast. You can explain to a patient clearly how PT plus advanced technologies will benefit them. You're interested in regenerative therapies and wellness not as add-ons, but as real tools that change outcomes. You want to be held accountable and you want to hold others to the same standard.
What we offer:
- 401(k) matching
- Bonus based on performance
- Dental insurance
- Health insurance
- Paid time off
- Training & development
- Vision insurance
- Wellness resources
