Program Leadership & Compliance
- Design, implement, and evaluate a district-wide Comprehensive School Counseling Program aligned to ASCA and NJDOE standards.
- Ensure compliance with NJ graduation requirements, NJGPA mandates, FAFSA completion initiatives, and postsecondary readiness benchmarks.
- Oversee HIB reporting, student crisis response coordination, and mental health referral systems in collaboration with Student Services.
- Monitor counselor caseloads to ensure equitable access to services.

Academic & Career Planning
- Oversee academic planning, transcript audits, and graduation progress monitoring.
- Ensure equitable access to Advanced Placement, CTE pathways, dual enrollment, academies, and enrichment programs.
- Support implementation of Individual Student Planning and Career Readiness initiatives.

Data-Driven Leadership
- Analyze student performance, attendance, discipline, graduation, and postsecondary enrollment data.
- Identify achievement gaps and recommend targeted interventions.
- Provide data reports to district leadership and Board of Education as requested.

Staff Supervision & Professional Development
- Supervise and evaluate school counselors and related staff.
- Provide professional development aligned to NJSPL Domain 2 (Teaching & Learning) and Domain 3 (Professional Capacity).
- Build counselor capacity in academic advising, mental health supports, and career pathways.

Family & Community Engagement
- Strengthen communication with families regarding graduation requirements, FAFSA, scheduling, and postsecondary planning.
- Build partnerships with colleges, trade schools, military representatives, and workforce organizations.
