Primary Responsibilities
- Contribute to the planning, modeling, analysis, and design of public works infrastructure projects (e.g.: wastewater collection & conveyance systems, water distribution & facilities, stormwater management facilities, roads, etc.).
- Perform land development plan reviews, prepare permit applications & regulatory reports, assist with construction administration & inspections, and provide other support to the water/wastewater and municipal market sectors.
- Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering-oriented discipline (preferably Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering); recent graduates are encouraged to apply!
- FE / EIT (we will consider candidates who are able to successfully complete their FE within 6 months of their start date).
- Experience working on Publics Works Infrastructure projects, especially with wet utilities (e.g.: wastewater collection & conveyance systems, water distribution & facilities, stormwater management facilities, roads, etc.) is a plus!
- Experience working on greenfield / land development projects is a plus.
- Proficiency with engineering tools (e.g.: CADD, GIS, analytical programs, etc.); experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D as well as HydroCAD, OpenFlows StormCAD, OpenFlows WaterGEMS, OpenFlows SewerGEMS, ArcGIS, and/or HEC-RAS is a plus!
- Proficiency on all standard Microsoft Office software applications (especially Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Proven ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Proven ability to work in a self-motivated manner while effectively multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple assignments.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
