- Assisting with complex traffic engineering tasks with other staff on highway and bridge projects.
- Leading and developing traffic studies and highway occupancy permits.
- Signing and Pavement Marking design
- Assisting with development of Maintenance of Traffic schemes, Construction Phasing and Traffic Control Plans
- Assisting with development of Management Plans (TMP) and Traffic Impact Studies (TIS)
- ADA Design and Curb Ramp Design
- FDOT Access Management, TSM&O and Complete Streets Initiatives
- Assisting with the development of project Cost Estimates and Specifications.
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to technical staff (e.g., CADD).
- Experience with traffic-related software packages (Synchro, HCM, VISSIM, SIDRA)
- Experience with FDOT and similar public sector clients (Counties, Cities, Townships)
- Developing client relationships with Public and Private Clients.
- Required education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field, Master’s degree a plus
- Minimum years of work experience: 4-8 years
- Computer skills required: Microsoft Suite; Microstation, Highway Capacity Software, Synchro/SimTraffic.
- Experience with InRoads and AutoCAD a plus
- Construction consultation and utility coordination experience a plus
- Licenses: PE, (PTOE desirable)
