Job Overview:
PENNEP is seeking an experienced Epic Tapestry Billing Analyst with strong payer-side / health plan experience to support our client’s Epic Tapestry implementation. The ideal candidate will have completed at least one full Epic Tapestry implementation and will play a key role in ensuring successful configuration, testing, and go-live support of the Tapestry module. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and Epic counterparts to deliver a stable and compliant billing solution.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide functional and technical support for the Epic Tapestry (Billing) module during implementation.
- Lead or support payer-side configuration, including benefit plans, billing rules, premiums, invoices, and member billing.
- Participate in requirements gathering, workflow analysis, and solution design.
- Configure, test, and validate Epic Tapestry billing functionalities.
- Support unit testing, integrated testing, UAT, and go-live activities.
- Troubleshoot billing issues and support post-implementation optimization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with health plan billing and regulatory requirements.
- Create and maintain documentation, including build specifications, workflows, and test scripts.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with Epic Tapestry (Billing).
- Payer-side / Health Plan experience (required).
- Experience completing at least one Epic Tapestry implementation end-to-end.
Solid understanding of:
- Health plan billing processes.
- Premium billing, invoicing, and payment workflows.
- Benefits configuration and member billing.
- Experience with Epic workflows, configuration tools, and testing methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Information Systems, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
