EFFECTIVE DATE: 2026 - 2027 SCHOOL YEAR
COMPENSATION: PER RTMEA CONTRACT
STARTING SALARY RANGE
$68,300 (Bachelor’s - Step 1) to $84,300 (Master’s - Step 6)
The Rose Tree Media School District seeks a dynamic and student-centered High School Business Teacher who engages students in developing financial literacy, business acumen, and real-world problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate designs relevant, standards-aligned instruction that prepares students for college, careers, and informed participation in the modern economy. This full-time, contracted position is available for the start of the 2026–2027 school year.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Education, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field required.
- Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certification in Business, Computer and Information Technology, or a related area.
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction in areas such as personal finance, entrepreneurship, marketing, and business fundamentals.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
- Experience integrating technology and real-world applications into instruction to support college and career readiness.
