Duties
- Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment to ensure sanitation compliance
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and balance cash drawers at shift end
- Assist with food handling, serving, bussing tables, and sanitation duties to uphold hygiene standards
- Support team members during busy hours by coordinating food prep and customer service tasks seamlessly
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and food service environments
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for sales processing
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices in quick service or fast food settings
