SUMMARY OF POSITION:
This specialty area of Histology is responsible for Immunohistochemical testing, quality assurance, quality control, preventative maintenance, safety, continuing education, staffing, regulatory standards, inventory proficiency testing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
- Associate degree in chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science or equivalent education.
- Three years of clinical work experience in an accredited Histology laboratory.
- Candidate must obtain HT/HTL/QIHC (ASCP) or equivalent certification within one year of hire.
