Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center will bring acute inpatient medical services to communities in Cumberland, Perry, and York counties. The facility, set to open in the Fall of 2021, will feature 108 private inpatient beds and an attached outpatient medical office building. This is a unique opportunity to be part of opening a new hospital with a highly collaborative and team-oriented culture.
J OB SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, fills all physician orders/prescriptions which include all oral, topical, and injectable medications as well as nutrition. Meets the qualifications to provide care for patients. Demonstrates proficiency in work area and is assigned to work in a designated area determined by the pharmacy manager when applicable upon completion of internal department requirements.
M INIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
H igh school diploma or GED required.
C urrent certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board
