Our Emergency Department is hiring for a Full Time Emergency Department Tech. This role will work Shift 1 (11a - 11p) in three 12 hour shifts per week.

The Center for Emergency Care at PMC provides state-of-the-art emergency medicine, treating patients with any medical problems that cannot wait to be seen by their regular doctor, as well as severe and life-threatening illnesses and injuries.

POSITION SUMMARY

The emergency department technician is an integral member of the health care team who delivers quality care through collaboration and communication with the team members. The work under the direct supervision of the registered nurse to support and assist the nurse in the delivery of quality care to patients and families. Some of the major responsibilities will include collection and reporting of patient data, incorporating organizational competencies of superior quality care and assuming responsibility and accountability for their role performance outcomes while supporting the standards of excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Vocational / Technical School / Diploma Program preferred.

EMT or EMPT preferred.

BLS from the American Heart Association required.

Related Work Experience

At least 2 years related work experience preferred.

Salary Range:

$18.73 - $29.31/Hourly
