Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS :
- PURPOSE OF JOB : Responsible for the movement of patients within the Hospital according to policies and procedures in an efficient and safe manner through the use of appropriate transport vehicles and elevators.
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Transport patients and visitors as assigned by the Transport Coordinator.
- Display excellent customer service skills with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Ability to work well with volunteers of all ages.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Three months experience with patient transport preferred
- Other Skills: Good communication skills, comfort in using computer, and cell phones. Ability to work with all age groups. Must be able to ride in elevators, manage stairs, walk long distances and operate Transport equipment.
