II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (TASKS)
Integrates all elements of patient management (evaluation, intervention plan, reevaluation, and discharge/follow-up) according to individual need and age specific criteria, and in a manner to maximize patient outcomes.
Includes patient/client, family/significant other, or caregiver in development of appropriate interventions, goals and discharge plan.
Provides Occupational Therapy interventions using appropriate therapeutic methods, and techniques to produce changes in the condition and function that are consistent with the diagnosis, prognosis and discharge plan.
Performs accurate and timely documentation including billing.
Delegates appropriately to supportive personnel.
Job Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree, Post Baccalaureate Certificate or Master's Degree in
Occupational Therapy, and Certification or eligible for AOTA Certification
Exam needed. A PA Licensure is needed.
B. Experience: Previous experience as an occupational therapist is desirable. Hand therapy experience strongly encouraged.
demonstrate good judgement and decision making.
Active member of the American Occupational Therapy Association is desirable.
Certified in CPR/BLS.
