Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS :
- PURPOSE OF JOB : Provide comprehensive clinical support for cardiac devices and manage device clinic.
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Responsible for the administration and clinical management of the Paceart/Optima Data Base including connectivity of device related data bases to electronic health records; provide office support for the device clinic
- Provide clinical management and support for patients monitored with remote device checks
- Provide education to patients/family about devices which includes care and follow up.
- Collaborate with Clinical Supervisor to incorporate and improve device clinic processes
- Assist with office visits when assigned.
- Other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Education: RN license in Pennsylvania preferred
- Experience: Minimum 1 year device experience
- Other Skills: CPR certified, ACLS certified preferred
- Knowledge of health care field and medical office protocols/procedures.
- Interpersonal communication skills (both oral and written)
- Ability to project a pleasant and professional image.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and complete delegated tasks.
