We are looking for a motivated and organized Operations Coordinator to join our growing pediatric home health team. This is a full-time, entry-level position ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and learning different areas of healthcare operations.
You will work closely with our Intake, HR, Compliance, Recruiting, and Operations teams, helping with day-to-day administrative tasks and keeping important processes moving. No home health experience is required—we are looking for someone dependable, professional, willing to learn, and comfortable supporting a cross-functional team.
What You'll Do
- Support the Intake team with new patient referrals, document collection, data entry, and follow-up.
- Contact PCP/physician offices to follow up on requested medical records, Plans of Care, and other documents needed for patient services.
- Assist HR and Compliance with employee files, document collection, expiration tracking, and general compliance activities.
- Support recruiting and hiring, including posting job openings, communicating with applicants, and coordinating interviews or onboarding activities.
- Perform general office administrative duties, including scanning, filing, organizing, archiving, and maintaining electronic and paper records.
- Assist with updating internal trackers, databases, and other operational records.
- Help answer and route phone calls and communicate professionally with families, employees, healthcare providers, and other partners.
- Assist with employee onboarding, training coordination, and other HR-related administrative tasks.
- Participate in community events, job fairs, recruiting events, and outreach activities as needed.
- Provide administrative support across departments and assist with special projects or other operational needs.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
- Previous office, customer service, healthcare, HR, or administrative experience is helpful but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable making professional phone calls and following up with physician offices, applicants, employees, and families.
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Comfortable using computers, email, Microsoft Office, and learning new software.
- Dependable, positive, and willing to learn.
- Able to work collaboratively with different departments while also completing assigned tasks independently.
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is required to effectively support and communicate with the diverse clients and families we serve.
