The Central Reprocessing Manager plans, manages, controls and maintains level of quality control in reprocessing and sterilization functions; supervises and coordinates activities of personnel in Sterile Processing engaged in furnishing sterile and non-sterile supplies and equipment for use in care and treatment of patients and surgical functions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education Registered Nurse, Certified Surgical Technologist, or SPD Manger/Supervisor with CRCST certification, 5 years minimum working experience in management of a sterile processing department, an associate’s degree if possible related to sterile processing.
- Required Experience/Skills Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) and Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) certifications required at time of hire date.
- Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL) will be required within one year of hire date.
- Preferred Experience/Skills Principles and process of supervision, staff development, organization skills, principles and application of hospital information system as it relates to sterile processing.
