The Intake Support Specialist provides administrative support to the Intake Department to ensure efficient processing of referrals and timely admissions. This role is responsible for monitoring patient flow within intake work queues, supporting timely progression of referrals, and coordination of logistics. The Intake Support Specialist works under the direction of intake leadership and collaborates with internal teams and referral sources to support workflow efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT REQUIRED
-HEALTHCARE PROVIDER (CPR) CERTIFICATION WITHIN 6 MONTHS AND COMPREHENSIVE CRISIS MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATION WITHIN 12 MONTHS OF START DATE IN DEPARTMENT/POSITION.
-PRIOR EXPERINCE IN HEALTHCARE, ADMISSIONS, MEDICAL OFFICE, OR ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT PREFERRED.
