THE EMERGNECY DEPARTMENT TECH PROVIDES PERSONAL CARE AND BASIC ACTIVE DAILY LIVING NURSING CARE UNDER THE DIRECTION OF A PROFESSIONAL NURSE IN ACCORDANCE WITH RECOGNIZED TECHNIQUES, STANDARDS, PROCEDURES, AND ADMINISTRATIVE POLICIES OF THE NURSING DIVISION.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
- Required skills: Certification as a CNA, CMA, EMT, or EMT-P preferred. CPR and Crisis Management certification required within 6 months of hire. Ability to follow directions and perform duties accurately and to work independently as needed.
- Preferred Skills: Preference given to those who have EKG Training and Competency. Required within 30 days of starting in position.
