Summary:
In collaboration with a Registered Dietitian, provides nutrition care through the Nutrition Care Process, by nutrition screening, data collection, and implementation of the Dietitian’s nutrition care plan. Supports food services in the provision of quality meals that are nutritionally adequate and therapeutically accurate. Ensures resident satisfaction, quality care, and regulatory agency compliance are achieved through the safe and efficient use of resources. Promotes a culture of wellness for residents.
Other information:
- Associates or 4 year degree in Nutrition and Dietetics
- Certification: Must have current registration as NDTR (Nutrition and Dietetics Technician Registered) by CDR (within 90 days of hire)
- Experience: Previous experience in long term care preferred
- Required skills: Microsoft Office Skills
- Preferred Skills: Active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics
