The Educational Engagement & Clinical Program Development Specialist will serve as the primary liaison between Penn Highlands Healthcare and local universities and educational institutions to promote academic partnerships and enhance clinical programs. This role is crucial in developing, managing, and growing relationships with universities to support the recruitment and training of future healthcare professionals, as well as coordinating clinical rotations, internships, and other professional development programs within local hospitals. The position will also drive the strategic development of educational programs, internships, job shadows, and preceptorships, ensuring alignment with the needs of the healthcare system and educational institutions
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public relations, sales & marketing, education or a related field.
Required Experience/Skills
Minimum of 3 years of experience in university relations, clinical program development, or healthcare education and sales. Experience in building partnerships with universities, developing educational programs, and managing clinical rotations is highly preferred.
