When a Slot Attendant you will:
Shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm Pay: $9.25 per hour tips (Avg. $19 to $21 per hour in tips)
When a Slot Supervisor you will:
Shift: 2:00pm - 10:30pm Pay: $19.50 per hour
*Will have supervisory and hourly team member responsibilities in this role.
- Adheres to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
- Provides cash handling service to casino patrons.
- Pays and verifies jackpots on slot machines according to established procedures.
- Promotes the Players Club card program; understands current card benefits and information and presents program to customers.
- Communicates all customer service issues to key personnel.
- Responsible for assigned casino funds and proper handling of funds exchanges.
- Performs customer booth transactions.
- Assists in training new personnel as needed.
- Monitors work areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met and customer requests are addressed and resolved.
- Assists patrons with general questions concerning the casino.
- Responsible for supervising staff and the overall daily management of a designated shift in the Slots department.
- Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with departmental and company standards and programs.
- Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.
- Ensures efficiency of slot machines and related gaming equipment during assigned shift.
- Provides authorizing/verifying signature for jackpot payments, when applicable, in accordance with established procedures.
- Effectively handles customer concerns and requests; makes final decisions regarding service recovery on assigned shift.
- Maintains and processes all paperwork, logs, schedules, and communication pertaining to the Slots department.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Basic math and cash handling skills required, including the ability to count money and make change.
- Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
- Must have the ability to work any shift or hours as needed.
