We are seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer to work out of our Pittsburgh, PA office. We offer a hybrid work environment.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field
- Engineer In Training license preferred or desire to obtain
- 0-3 years of civil engineering experience
- Schooling and/or work experience in the following is a plus: Hydrology/Hydraulics, E&S Controls, Stormwater Management Controls, AutoCAD Civil 3D
Practical work experience you will gain includes:
Civil Engineering:
- Preparation of site plans, erosion and sediment control plans, post-construction stormwater management plans, and land development/subdivision plans
- Preparation of hydrology, hydraulic, and drainage calculations
- Post-Construction Stormwater Management Best Management Practices calculations and design
- AutoCAD/Civil 3D and standard drafting techniques and applications with experience in the preparation of the following: Creating 3-D surfaces, Grading plans, Profiles/cross-sections, Pipe networks and corridors
- Infiltration Testing
- Collaboratively working with Project Managers to coordinate with clients and prepare proposals
