The ideal candidate will have knowledge of or be willing to learn:
- Tasks in other practice areas within the company and collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Water resources engineering and stormwater management design
- Site layout and regulatory analysis including zoning and ordinance review
- Grading design and earthwork analysis
- Construction administration, site visits, and construction observation
- Sustainable design practices and low impact development (LID) strategies
- Technical writing including reports, letters, and permit applications
- Utility and infrastructure design including water, sanitary, and storm systems
- Use of Civil 3D for design, grading, and plan production
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to project sites
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn and grow within the company
This opportunity requires:
Education
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and/or related field
License/Certification
- Engineer-In-Training and/or a desire to obtain certification
