Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging classroom instruction on hair, skin, and nail techniques.
- Follow set curriculum while lecturing, demonstrating, and assist students in hands on participation.
- Assess student progress through hands-on demonstrations and theoretical assessments; provide constructive feedback to foster skill development.
- Stay current with industry trends and incorporate new methods.
- Maintain a positive learning environment that encourages creativity, professionalism, and confidence among students.
- Ensure compliance with state licensing requirements and safety standards for all cosmetology procedures taught.
Qualifications
- Valid state cosmetology license with experience in hair, skin, and nails.
- Valid Cosemtology teacher's license.
- Three or more years experience in the Cosmetology field
- Proven classroom experience or teaching background in adult education settings preferred.
