What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Technician position at Peninsula Pharmacy?
Peninsula Pharmacy in Marquette and Gladstone is looking for entry level or Licensed pharmacy technicians.
Gladstone will require PTCB certification.
Position Summary:
Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, assist in providing medications to patients. Perform routine tasks to help prepare prescribed medications, such as order entry, counting tablets, labeling bottles, and inventory management.
Expand skill set and learn a new job in a fast-paced, friendly, and rewarding environment.
Position Specific Tasks:
1. Greeting and welcoming patients
2. Gathering and inputting complete information
3. Confirming insurance coverage and reimbursement
4. Printing and confirming label accuracy
5. Accurately fill prescriptions
6. Following up with patients by phone
Full-time status includes:
PTO, 401k, paid holidays.
