Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Group Sales Manager, based in Baltimore, MD. The Group Sales Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of group bookings while maximizing revenue opportunities. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, creating and executing sales strategies, preparing contracts, and coordinating with various internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery. The role involves proactive outreach to potential clients, attending industry events to promote the hotel, and maintaining detailed sales reports to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
Qualifications
- Proven sales and negotiation skills with a professional approach to building client relations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency with sales systems and tools such as CRM platforms and hotel property management systems.
- Knowledge of hotel operations and group sales, with a focus on the luxury hospitality market.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and departments to execute client needs successfully.
- Flexibility to work on-site and meet clients or attend events in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a group sales role for luxury hotels is highly desirable.
