We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Group Sales Manager- Major Market to join our team. This role is ideal for a results-driven, client-focused sales professional who thrives on building relationships and securing group business opportunities. What You'll Do:

As the Group Sales Manager, you will:

  • Drive Sales Success:
  • Proactively sell guest rooms, meeting spaces, and Hyatt services to groups of 100 rooms on peak.
  • Lead negotiations, secure contracts, and ensure favorable terms aligned with business goals.
  • Build new relationships and nurture existing ones with key clients, event planners, and corporate partners.
  • Deliver Exceptional Service:
  • Conduct site visits, present tailored proposals, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate across teams, including marketing, events, and operations, to align sales efforts with promotional initiatives.
  • Lead with Expertise:
  • Provide insights through accurate sales reports and market analysis.
  • Represent Hyatt at client meetings, industry events, and trade shows to strengthen our market presence.


Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of experience in hotel group sales, with expertise in handling groups of 100 rooms on peak.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to exceed production goals and deliver results.
  • Knowledge of sales process and the ability to align sales strategies with business objectives.
  • Proficiency in general computer systems and Hyatt-specific tools (training provided).
  • A true passion for hospitality and a results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to travel as needed to represent Hyatt.
