This is a full-time, on-site role for a Banquet Chef located in Baltimore, MD, at Pendry Hotels & Resorts. The Banquet Chef will oversee all aspects of banquet food preparation and presentation, ensuring high standards of quality and creativity. Responsibilities include menu planning, managing kitchen operations, collaborating with the events team, maintaining food safety standards, and mentoring kitchen staff. The Banquet Chef will play a pivotal role in creating memorable culinary experiences for events hosted at the property.
- Strong skills in Food Preparation, Cooking, and Culinary Techniques
- Experience in Food Service and Food & Beverage management
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire culinary teams
- Understanding of food safety regulations and health guidelines
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Professional culinary training or certification preferred
- Prior experience in luxury hospitality or event catering is a plus
