We’re looking for a Banquet Executive Sous Chef at Annapolis Waterfront Hotel who thrives in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment and knows how to turn large-scale execution into a seamless, elevated experience. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who brings precision, creativity, and a deep sense of ownership to every event from intimate gatherings to full-scale waterfront celebrations.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the execution of all banquet and event culinary operations with consistency, quality, and efficiency
- Partner closely with the Regional Chef and events team to deliver exceptional guest experiences at every touchpoint
- Oversee preparation, production, and plating for high-volume banquet service while maintaining Atlas-level standards
- Train, coach, and develop culinary team members by building a culture of accountability, growth, and excellence
- Ensure all food is prepared, presented, and delivered on time and to spec
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost controls with a sharp eye for detail and profitability
- Maintain the highest standards of sanitation, safety, and kitchen organization
- Step in as a leader on the line by setting the pace, solving challenges, and driving execution in real time

Total Rewards
The base salary range for this role is $80,000-$90,000, aligned with your experience, leadership scope, and the impact you bring to the business.
