Gifted Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Gifted Teacher to inspire and nurture highly capable students across various grade levels. Must have a gifted endorsement or currently obtaining one.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement differentiated lesson plans that challenge gifted students and align with curriculum standards.
• Utilize advanced instructional strategies and learning technology to foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
• Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing and project-based assessments.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary units that integrate literacy education, math, science, arts, and physical education tailored for gifted learners.
• Manage classroom environments effectively to promote positive behavior management and inclusive participation.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to support students’ social-emotional development and individual interests.
• Adapt teaching methods for students with special needs or those with autism, ensuring equitable access to learning opportunities.

Skills

• Expertise in curriculum development for gifted education across early childhood, elementary, or middle school levels.
• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other learning technology tools to enhance instruction.
• Strong creative writing skills for developing engaging lesson content and educational materials.
• Excellent classroom management abilities combined with effective communication skills for working with children and their families.
• Experience in classroom experience with preschool through high school students in private or specialized school settings.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and special education practices.

Pay: $45,900.00 - $60,000.00 per year
